Hi Ladies

Just wondering if anyone else is having problems? Sometimes I am putting in very obvious things and it is returning with no results. :/ Then I try again an hour or so later and results will show up, same spelling etc? Bit perplexing!  :-\

Hi CGL :D

I had that same problem for a while, and then realised it was because I was trying to search while I was in a certain section. You need to be either on the home page, or click the search button under the search box, next to the profile button.

Can someone else confirm that I have that right?

Hi CGL - yes - I've had that, too . .  although not even an hour later.  Sometimes, the second click will do it . . . And you're right - you know it's there but the search function sometimes just doesn't want to know about it . . .

Just saw your post, Amy - that makes sense!  Will keep it in mind and try it out to see if there's any improvement - thanks!

You are exactly right Amy, if you search from where you are, it will only search in that section (i.e. this thread is in the suggestions and complaints section and that is where it would search if I just went to the top of the page and searched)

the quickest and most efficient way is to go back to the home page and search from there  ;) Took me ages to stop doing the wrong thing  and many of us have been there!

If searching on our forum fails to bring up something you know is there, try this method

Google 'chicken soup forumthermomix' and you will find it that way or for a general search for something you would like to make but don't think there is a recipe on the forum just google eg  'cheese muffins thermomix' and you will be given a whole list of them which may be on our forum, Recipe Community or on someone's blog.

Sometimes you can remember who posted what you are looking for too and that helps. Using the advanced search helps too.
It is annoying spending time looking when you know it's there.
