I might make the strips a bit bigger next time, Halex.  Rich, sweet fruity sauce very yummy.  Only needs a plan rice to balance it.  Enjoy!

Cecilia, may I ask how spicy this is? DS is a fussy eater.

Thanks

Up to you, DG - it's an old fashioned recipe - just says 2 tbp curry powder.  Most of the flavour comes from the apple, sultanas, chutney etc.

Thanks cecilia.

I guess the other ingredients take the bite out of it.

My friends have been cooking up a storm from this cookbook so I thought I should try a few more recipes also.

I made this tonight and it was enjoyed by all. A nice wholesome family meal. I was a bit worried about leaving the apple unpeeled but it was fine in the finished curry. I only added 1 tsp of curry powder but will add 1.5 tsp next time for a bit more kick.

Thanks Chelsea, I wondered how much curry powder I would need to make it family friendly and I think ours are about on the same par from previous experience  :) It's on my to do list ... when it cools down a little  :-))

How many servings did you get from this recipe? I'm having people over for dinner and want to make sure I have enough

Welcome to the forum. I'd say it would serve 4 as long as you are serving something else with it.
