Hope you heal quickly and the pain settles for you fruity. Since its your foot and not your hand you might feel up to it quicker the you think. ;D

I hope you have a speed recovery Fruity - I felt the pain myself when I read what you had done.  Hope you have a pile of books and an iPad or laptop so that you can rest with your foot up but not get bored.

thank you for all your warm wishes, must admit today am struggling a little, but it has only just been a little over 24 hours since having it done. Foot is up in recliner on 2 cushions but with a little one (15 month old)  am struggling to use the crutches. DH and the rest of the kids will be home soon so that will make life easier today.

It cetainly does sound very painful. Hopefully your recovery will be speedy and Thelma will be in use again.
