I saw a lovely 7 layer cake yesterday, a rainbow cake in the true sense of the word. I told DD I wanted it for my birthday

Thanks everyone. The boys were all impressed with the cake.
The cake was an egg free marble cake, iced with buttercream, surrounded with kit kats, with a blue jelly pool & decorated with lollies.

DH has a birthday in April and I am considering having a go at Adriano Zumbo's V8 cake. 8 layers if vanilla heaven. Mmmm

Love the look of that rainbow cake Cookie, can't wait to see your DD's version
Kimmy, I think I saw that V8 cake on masterchef a couple of series ago. It looked very hard to make
