Will be interested in your opinion of them Chookie.  I haven't looked for them in Foodland.

I am also looking forward to hearing what you think of them, Chookie.

I tried one of the recipes today which I found on Pinterest - the Moroccan Potato Stew.  Very tasty.

Marina and Judy, I was very impressed with noodles.  Had them in a stir fry.  1/2 packet was very filling and added only 11 calories.  Need to be with a very tasty sauce as they take on the flavor.

Another thank you Chookie. My DH loves to have noodles for lunch and buys these very unhealthy ones.

We are doing quite well, but not using 5:2.
Have reduced sugar, refined, and all or any processed food.
More chicken/fish.
Lots of salads, and soups.
Less bread.
It is hard thinking of meals especially when working all day long.
I have lost 3lbs and DH lost even more.
See how it goes.
Next week will be a naughty week as have visitors.

Well done DJ. It is annoying when the guys lose the weight faster.  :D

How is everyone going? I have managed to be "good“ for 2 entire weeks. DD is on holidays soon so that may be the end of being good for a while. I am loving my fitbit and finding it inspirational at the moment.

I find I am looking forward to my two fasting days now - my hardest time is after eating in the evening; over the years I have got into the habit of having an extra nibble after I have eaten dinner and it is very hard to break this, however, I will continue trying to behave.  All the recipes I have tired have been really tasty and that has made a huge difference.  DH struggled a bit a week or two ago, but has made a few changes and seems to have settled down a bit more into the routine now.

We started this about two weeks before Xmas (the worst possible time) and didn't even try to follow it over the holiday period, then re-started during the second week of January.  So far I have lost approx. 3 kg and 1 1/2" off my waist.  That is encouraging.  I am not expecting anything dramatic to happen, but slow and steady will suit me fine.

Marina,  you are doing well.  I have been on and off 5.2 since last year.  I have lost over 6 Ks  but a lot more to lose.  It is still , to me, the easiest 'diet' to follow.  I do tend to over eat on the 5 days,  so am trying to control this.  Cooking bread in the Mini crock pot has had its moments as I like to 'test' what I have cooked.  2 day today,  so here I go again.  I agree that there are some nice recipes to try,  especially the soups.

We are sticking to a lot more veg and fruit, less meat and bread etc. And so far I've lost 4lbs. DH more.
Finding it easier than 5:2 just now.
I do miss puddings thought especially lemon Belgium tea cake.....

You are going well girls, keep it up.  Marina, hats off to your DH - I find men fall off the wagon a lot easier than women so he must be determined to lose some weight.  Where is he hiding it, he looked fine to me as did you  :)
