Made for an expensive parcel CC.  Did you have to pay anything when I sent you that large recipe book?
I was just unfortunate that the scrubbies got caught as I have never had it happen to any parcel from overseas before. The book you sent me sailed through ;) :)

Generally, here in Australia, if your package has a value of is less than $1,000 it should come through without any problems.  There may be the odd time when something will get stopped, particualrly by Quarantine if they feel the package contains plant or animal matter, so our scrubbies should come through without any problems.

Mine came in exactly a week.
They feel quite rough and worked well on a callous on my foot. Has anyone used them on the TM? I assume they are safe and won't scratch it  - I haven't tried one yet as I am paranoid about damaging it and would love a report from someone who has used it.

I love mine, it is so useful for everything. Even DH remarked on how good it is. (he washes and I dry the dishes.)

My TMX  bowl had a black accumulation along the leading edge of the 'ribs' on the sides of the jug and Chookie thought this was due to the water in rural Victoria.  I had tried all sorts of things to clean the marks off, all to no avail, then I ran a scrubbie around it at the weekend and it looks like the marks have now all come off (I was so astounded I just put the jug away without double checking, but I think they have gone, much to my relief!).

Thanks for the replies. Sounds like they are fine for the TM.
I am going to give a couple to both my daughters as well and wanted to be sure their TMs wouldn't be scratched.
I didn't read the instructions thoroughly and thought it was for skin (and not just callouses or rough skin). So I just "tested" it on my arm and now I have red graze marks along it!

Oops. Did it take the hair off.

The are pretty abrasive pads so care should always be taken.  I found I needed to wear gloves to protect my hands when using them to scrub around the kitchen / bathroom.
