Poor Dozer puss. Found him dead under my car this morning. He must of laid under there and died in his sleep. I know he didn't get ran over because my car hasn't moved for days. Was just about to take the car to the mechanic to be fixed when I noticed Dozer under my car. When I touched his tail to wake him to make him move (he was deaf so would hear me) his tail was stiff and I knew :(
We have had him for 15.5 years and he was just part of the family. I have always said that when he dies that I wanted him to die in his sleep.

RIP Dozer, my Mini (cat) is 21 this year, she also is deaf, I have a peek every morning to see if she is still breathing. I hope she goes in her sleep too.

Brenda,
21 years! Wow..  I hope she is not in pain though.l we discovered with 12 year old dog zeno he myst have been in pain for years, but he hid it well... I feel sorry for our boy now..  We always thought saying goodbye was too soon, now we wonder if we did not drag it too lóng.

I was expecting to see another gorgeous young lady when I slid the bar over Jude, I got the shock of my life. I just thought your friends were a bit zany when you called them ratty  :D

Mandy what a lovely long time you've had your Dozer and although you've probably been expecting it, this would still have been a shock.  RIP Dozer.

Mandi I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.  Our pets are such a large part of the family and I'm sure Dozer will be missed by all.  Sounds like he had a wonderful life with you and your children and was much loved.  Take care xx

Your cat will be missed after being a part of your lives for so long.  I have two ten year old cats,  I would miss them terribly too.

How sad for you all dede. Poor Dozer. Sending hugs over.

Ooh a rat for a pet. We know a couple who have rats for pets, sorry I just can't get used to it. I'm sure Michelle is well loved though Jude
