Be warned they can be demanding of your time as well (bit like my Billy).

Clinker was very demanding after he fell in the sink tonight while mum was washing the dishes Mandi ;D Poor baby was covered in bubbles :-))

Oh poor Clinker. Yes sinks and toilets can be dangerous for our little feathered friends.
Billy is naughty and very protective of me, I'm not even allowed to hold Ruby without Billy wanting to bite her :(. So I now have to lock Billy in her cage to have baby cuddles.
Billy spends a lot of time sleeping in my shirt perched on my Bra strap (for grip). She's very cuddly. :)

Oh dear Mandi :-\ Poor baby Ruby, she probably doesn't even realise that she's trespassing on Billy's property :-)) ;D
Sometimes I wish Clinker would just sit still on my shoulder or shirt... but he wants to be everywhere :)

Great, an ADD cockatiel, that's all I need ;D
He chirps a LOT. Sometimes he goes on and on and on...... :-)) But still no words :(

We've had cockatiel Boris for about 4 years and he loves to scream/sing but hasn't spoken a word :( so now we just whistle to him, he's pretty good at The Mexican Hat Dance and does the most realistic telephone ring which often confuses visitors ;D

Robyn I am so jealous, he is beautiful. Daks is a great name and he will be able to say it.

Amy Ollie just started talking. I would always tell him he was a good boy and 'good boy Ollie' were his first words.

Our budgie was the same. He picks up words so easily. DH started joking at both birds that they were naughty boys and now the budgie says that as well.

Today my fur kid (Papillion) Holly turns 6, just thought I would post a pic of the birthday girl, although its not a very good
shot as she would move each time DH tried to take one, he of course added the birthday bits :)
Love all your animal pics and stories everyone, I have a real soft spot for animals
