How far is Margaret River from Perth?

Foxx, Margaret River is 267 kms from Perth, a 3 hour 18 minute drive.  You obviously don't live in Australia, may I ask where you do live?

Good morning to all the early risers in Margaret River from me too.  It's a pity things are drawing to a close over there, it sounds and looks like the weekend was a total success and once again CP, what a super job you did in pulling this off. I hope there aren't too many with headaches for the trip back to Perth and I wish you all safe travels to wherever your destination may be.

What an amazing weekend.  The generosity of spirit is overwhelming.  Everyone has something to offer.  CP has organised just enough to allow for flexibility.  Gert has give computer instructions.  Cookie has organised transport.   I have talked bread until I am blue in the face.(and loved every minute of it).  All the WA members have hosted us blow ins , in a most inclusive manner.  Ral and DD have added a little male balance to the weekend.  Gifts. Have flowed from everywhere,  even from Helene in Canada..
Word from members who are not using their TMX as much as they should,  is that they can't wait to get home to startt TMXing.
Tenina is going to post a recipe for the Pumpkin bread we had for lunch,  she is very busy,  so if she runs out of time,  I will post one.
Margaret River is beautiful.  We have had cool nights with warm days. ( thanks Marina for reminding of the cold and damp at home,,,,) Our houses are spacious and overlook the sea.
30 seems to be a perfect size.  Large enough for variety,  and small enough to talk to everyone.
If there is another get together next year.  You would be wise to book early.

Good morning cookie in the next room! Looks like another beautiful  day here. Bacon and eggs for brekkie ?

And good morning to achookwoman and Ral downstairs.  Plus some of great chees from the factory?

Wish you were here JD.

It is going  to be sad to say goodbye .

Well you keep saying you would  love to come to Australia so make a plan !!

If it weren't for you dear  MM we would not be having this "retreat" .  We were all strangers with one wee thing in  common . Some of us are still a wee strange but now we are friends . ;D :-)) ;)  We have learned a lot.

One of the best stories we heard last night was that Emerald  Sue, along with her her DH and two children are going to make  a  RETURN trip across the NULLABOR  Desert . Their plan is to,hire an caravan and do it all in 10 days.

We are all looking forward to hearing about that adventure!!!!!!!! ;D

Who  would not sleep well after such a busy day .  I heard all three of us up here snoring last night. Another wonderful colourful sunrise.

I hope everyone there posts a final tribute to the wonderful weekend you have had - those that didn't make it are just hanging out for reviews.

Gert, what were Chookie & Ral doing downstairs???  It looks like a bit of arguing must have taken place over the beds LOL
