I've got to say that my consultant was very helpful throughout the initial two year period and arranged for replacements when and as I needed them - blades, seals, etc.

My consultant delivered my TMX . . .  and that was the last I heard from her . . .

Same here. No word since. I don't know where the good customer service I was promised went took the order, delivered and that was it.

I added the onion soup mix to Mrs. Masons Nuta and Bolts. Yummy!

Great idea. I'm making some more to take to the station and will do the same.

In case everyone is wondering what Gretchen is talking about, it was my post about quitting as a consultant. I deleted it because I don't officially finish until tomorrow. But, what the heck, it's only a day!

I really enjoyed doing the demos, but found the traveling to be too costly and time consuming. I couldn't buy the food required for the demos in my home town, so had to plan my purchases when in Katanning or Albany. I was planning my life around my demos!

There were many other issues that caused me to quit, but I don't want to mention them here because I know who reads these posts!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Cookie I am glad you liked the mustard.  I am going to have a look now to see if I have already posted it, but if I haven't I will now!

It has taken me a wee while but here is the marketing manager for Vorwerk  AU/NZ

[

Kai.Schaeffner@vorwerk.ch

I guess he would like to hear from anyone not so happy with the state of play. Might help us to maybe get a second distributor maybe on the East Coast.

This might just be the person to write to MJ. Several of us have already sent him a message as he is the marketing manager who may be able to do something about it.

If enough of us write perhaps they will start to take notice and realise there is a problem and their brand is  being tarnished . We want Vorwerk to be reading these posts . They are the ones who have the power to change things . When they realise the many consultants as well as customers are not happy they may take  action.  A second distributor would be the ultimate solution. There is nothing better than a bit of competition  to shake things up.

There is no question that TMX Australia is price gauging. You only have to look at ebay to see the difference in prices between $1939 and what they're selling for, including postage on ebay. If these o/s sellers can afford to sell the machines for around $1200 plus postage then clearly what we pay in OZ is over the top given the high Australian Dollar.

A book of my favorite forum recipes

I was thrilled to receive this recipe book CP thinking it was your first list of favourite recipes only but tonight I am sitting up in bed going through it and I realise it is completely up to date with your favourites. I  thought it was rather thick for your first list.  We are indeed privileged to receive this book and I thank you again for such a thoughtful addition to the goodie bag. Xxxxxxxxx

You are welcome JD. A little while ago there was a question regarding the possibility of the 'updated list' of favourites. I was working on the pressie and made no comment  :-X ha ha

I love that  book CP . Such a lot of effort just for us. The spiral binding is wonderful. Thank you for such a generous gift.
