Quite fathers day. DH's father phased away a few months ago so I think we will go to the cemetery and then once DD has finished work we are going out for tea down Blythe beaching St Kilda. I'll visit my Dad at some point and drop off some goodies I've made him.

All here. Roast Lamb with the works, fruit and Icecream and cheese platter. Kids will cook and eat pikelets for morning tea.

Will catch up with my Dad this afternoon, and think we'll all meeting up to go out for dinner.

Fathers day was celebrated here by DH getting 3 girls bombard him with his presents at 7am, then all went back to bed and slept in til 10am!! Then we had Brunch together at about 11.15am, then we went out for a walk around the river. DH was going to cook dinner (his idea) and now the in-laws are coming around for it so I imagine I will be cooking for 2 fathers tonight instead!

DH got up and made himself ham and eggs for breakfast. DD and I rose later and gave him his gifts. Cooking one of his favourite dinners and DD has made him a chocolate marble cake. Sadly no other fathers to visit.

So sad, DH rang his dad and he was with brother in law looking at nursing homes. He can't be on his own any more but extra heart wrenching he is looking today.
