Thanks CP I might give the Hobb Bis a go tomorrow.  Make them as a base, I hope they will cut ok.

Want to thank you CP for sharing this recipe.   I made this yesterday and it was lovely.   Did not have any lemons so used limes.  Have been asked to make it again.  Thanks again

This is in my fridge now to take to a picnic tomorrow.
Should I freeze it and then take it with me and let it defrost or would it be ok as is and just put it in the esky?

MF, Trudy said in her posting that this recipe sounds like one her Mum makes and freezes so there's your answer for you.  It might travel better if frozen or slightly frozen.
