Hi There
« on: September 07, 2012, 08:52:53 am »
Hi
My name is Susie and I live in Sydney,  I have had my Thermomix for over 1 year, and love it more and more each day.
Cookbooks I have and use are:  In The Mix,  For Food Sake, Travelling with Thermomix, Devil of a Cookbook, EDC, Vegetarian and also some I got from Spain, I am from Spanish parents so love cooking Spanish food.

My favourite dish at the moment is:   Salmon Empanada from the Travelling with Thermomix,  Beef Stir Fry from In the Mix, and the Caramelised onion, pumpkin and Persian feta quiche from, Devil of a cookbook. also the Brown Butter Cherry Tart from From Food Sake is amazing.

Hi Susie, welcome to the forum.  I believe in Spain they have magazines coming out regularly with TMX recipes so you are one up on us English speaking countries there.  Have you seen our Recipe Review section for all TMX books.  We'd love some reviews of any recipes you may have tried from any of the books listed there and look forward to any recipes you may like to contribute to this forum.  Enjoy your time on here.

Welcome Susie. You certainly sound as though you are enjoying your thermomix.

thank you everyone, look forward to sharing recipies and experience.

I have a couple of friends that now own a thermomix and we have cooking days, once a week, we choose something new each week to try.
last week we made chille con carne, from the travaelling with thermomix cookbook, and the shredded beef taco salad from Tenina.
both were fantastic.
