Back again!
« on: September 15, 2012, 12:44:50 pm »
It's been an emotional couple of weeks for me, as most of you know. We held a beautiful Celebration of Life for my niece on Thursday here in my home town where she and my nephew had come to live only five months ago.

My best friend MC'd and did a fantastic job. Another good friend wrote and read a tribute, another male friend read my nephew's tribute.
Everyone wore something purple. We decorated the pavilion with bush flowers in baskets and had purple candles and purple fabric on some of the tables. It looked so gorgeous.

We released purple helium balloons after writing a message on them at the end of the ceremony. My Book Club friends did the catering.

The next day was the 'official' ceremony at the Funeral Home. I highly recommend Bethany Funerals in Albany. They were absolutely fantastic.

Thank you all for your kind messages. To those who emailed me, thank you, I read your messages and they made me smile and appreciate my forum friends all the more.

Sounds like a beautiful celebration of life. What a lovely send off and how nice to have wonderful friends and family who cared enough to do it for her.

Your beautiful niece had made her place already in your community and they did her proud . A lovely tribute .
