I had one and found that things broke off it really quick. It might be me being a bit heavy handed but i mangled one of the seal rings, burnt down the rubber spinner in the base and snapped off most of the clear tabs on the containers/cups.  You need to press down the cup thingy and twist to lock in the clear tabs to the base which then activates the machine which is why they broke off. Also very noisy and only good for small quantities. All in all would not rate this highly as it is just not robust enough. Hope this helps.  :-\

I had one, it was a juicer, blender, 6 glasses, and 4 magic bullets.

You can get a knock off for about $40 at WW, or discount stores.

i gave mine away. :D   not that good.

Sounds like she would be better off with a TMX Chookie - oops, a bit expensive for a 9 year old ;D

I have a magic bullet and love it. I even have the infomercial taped, I watch it quite a bit as it's sooo funny.
Mine is about 3 yrs old and held up very well.
There are mini food processes that start at about $65.00 if you think they would be more substantial but mine hasn't missed a beat. You can get magic buleets from Homeart or as Robyn says a knock off from Big W.
Get her one, it's a bit of fun for her.
By the way what did she think of the lolly teeth photo?

Thanks Michele.  I think this is quite safe to use and if it doesn't last very long she might be ready for a TMX next  .LOL.
She thought the teeth were real,  and thought I had some very odd friends.  They,  the GC,  are very protective of us,  GP.  They worry that we might get into trouble on the computer.  How right they are,  but not in the way they think.  We are having 3 GC to stay for a week of the school hols.  I am teaching them to us the TMX,  they catch on very quickly.  Jilly might bring her Magic Bullet .
We are off to Ballarat tomorrow to look after 2 while their mum works.

Chookie and Ral, that's lovely. I'm awaiting grandchildren - married DD did child care for her transitional year after HSC and it has been a wonderful form of contraception. DD is is only 25 yrs and is very career orientated (plenty of time though).
DGD is right on the money - you do have some odd friends that will put in lolly teeth for a photo. Did you tell her that you ate every pair you put in your mouth? (that was so funny) before the photo ???

  None in my family either,
I have 9 GK's  plus two proxy's , Love them to bits (most of the time)I'm glad they came along when I was young I wouldn't like to be starting now.  I get too tired, a day running around after a two year old has me in bed by 8.30.
