Gday from WA
« on: September 23, 2012, 11:29:27 am »
Hi All,
I have had my thermie about a month now actually it must be a month since our second payments due today lol.
anyway I don't think the poor thing has had a day off since we got it home.
I have used recipes from this forum already and thought I should join and comment on some of the great recipes :)

Hubby uses thermie just as much as me and loves it just as much :) being lactose intolerant I make my own cashew milk in it... never thought making my own would be so simple.

just this morning hubby made some breakfast scones for us from the forum  8)

anyway we are a family of 4 (5 every second weekend when we have my husbands son who is 9 stay and when my 20 year old visits from Perth now and again) It's hubby and I, 18 year old son and 14 year old daughter... hubby and I have started going mostly vegetarian due to my high uric acid...kids hate it LOL well mostly the 18 year old who loves his meat.

anyway loving how easy thermie is to use and clean and make things simple that would normally be hard to make :)

Hi Kazmic, welcome to the forum.  It sounds as if you are in love with your machine like the rest of us and it's nice to hear it is getting a good workout.  Thanks for using our recipes, any chance you can add some reviews in the relevant threads to encourage others to try them too?  Have you seen or heard of the Rainbow Recipe cookbook? It might be right up your alley.  Here's a few reviews of some of the recipes from those who have the book.

Welcome from the city of Perth. Your thermomix sounds like it is helping you a lot. Are you far from the city?
