Belated introduction

Hello,
this a belated introduction as I joined in February but have been travelling since and only just really started reading the forum.
My name is Jim and I am currently a stay/work at home dad living in north-east France.
I have 2 thermomix's, a 2200 from 1980 given to me by my mum which still works perfectly and a TM31 which I am learning to get to grips with through the help of this excellent forum.
So far I have made bread, bechamel, a few soups and other sauces. My wife however is far more adept and cooks full family meals using the TM31 but being French (bless her) she prefers to use French-language forums for help with cooking.
All the best, Jim

Hi Jim, welcome to the forum. It's great to hear you have 2 TMXs and that the 1980 model is still working - it speaks volumes for the quality of the brand. Do you have a special French recipe from those your DW cooks that you would like to share with us?
