Weather does sound miserable, but I too love my Thermie soup!
My fav is cauliflower and bacon (from this forum) I sub pancetta for the bacon. Mmmmm!

That's one of the great things about winter - soups and stews - I always find hot weather harder to cook in with 'lighter' meals and because I am not a huge fan of salads and the like

mmmm will try the cauli and bacon soup! we have a range (on all the time) cooker,so in summer its off all the time! Thermi has done sterling work then as well! (we are on a farm, and the range keeps the kitchen warm...and dry in this weather!).
