This is the one I got which has been very good. At the time there was a special where you could get the black one (which has an extra pan for making omelettes etc) for the same price as the red one. I have never used the extra pan tho. The pizzas we have made have been absolutely beautiful and its been well worth buying.

We have the same one as CP. We love it. I bought my brother a Breville a few years ago and the heat rings catch on the food of the pizza, not good.
We actually give our bases a quick cook in the pizza oven ( afew minutes), then add the topping and cook again as we have thicker pizza crusts.

Happy shopping.

It was around $140, it's called "the pizza maker". Off memory the red one is exactly the same minus the extra tray, and about $10 less

Chookie, I also have the same pizza maker as CP. I love it  ;D

I use the insert pan to make Quirky Jo's fruit pizza. It is like a flat sponge and lovely to add fruit and toppings.

Also partially bake gluten free pizza bases for two minutes then freeze. Also make Jo's quinoa and chia flatbreads for two minutes and they make wonderful salad wraps. Also have them in the freezer.

You will have a lot of fun with it. Also used for normal pizza bases for DH and friends. There is so much  differnce between a hot stone in the oven and the pizza maker. The pizza maker wins every time. ;D

Here's what Choice have to say: Electric Pizza Ovens

I just use a pizza stone in the oven as they recommend.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Thanks to everyone.   MJ,  I have a pizza stone but for some strange reason, I can't produce a good pizza in my oven.  Can do on my hooded BBQ,  but sick of running outside to check on it.  Will let you all know what I have decided once I have had a look at them tomorrow.

Meganjane, I had also read the choice magazine review. I don't agree with that review :)

I've had so much more use of the pizza maker then I had imagined. It makes eating gf a lot easier - pizza bases, flatbreads, naan breads and the fruit pizza cake type of base. Cleaning the stone is just a brush over, no water on the stone. I always put the bases on baking paper, as all my gf bases etc tend to be a batter.

Yvette, great prices for the pizza makers  ;D
