I don't have an ipad or a kindle  >:( but am mighty fast at using my mobile  ;D ;D

You had better keep a book in your handbag  Yvette. Laying around in the hospital can be pretty boring without something to do!

Dear Gert, you always make light out of a stressful situation - you will surely go to your grave with a smile on your face, not just yet though I hope  :-* :-* :-* :-*

As I have already told you, the last stress test I had I was asked to run for as long as I could - 9 minutes later I had to stop because I wanted/needed a drink.  I was dreading them telling me I had to go for another one down the track but now I know you were only walking on the treadmill, I sure am going to tell them I will walk not run >:( ;)

LOL! I did tell them my hip was cactus.  You always have to have a plan JD. Did I hear your  knees creaking?

Gert, I thought you were quiet that weekend. OMG.

Cairns Base too, that is scary. I will have to check on you more often.

I am so glad you are okay Gert.  I have recharged my Kindle, dropped hints for ipad for Christmas(so hoping nothing happens before then) . Have always heeded mums advice about wearing clean undies incase I got run over by a bus.  Living in the country could not really see that happening.  Must put some soluble asprinin in my bag though.  Seriously, you take care.

God girl Marie!

Obbie the BASE was excellent. There was one incident which kept me occupied for a bit. That was when a naked drunk mucked up in the Ambo bay. It took 6 security men, two nurses, two paramedics and a doctor to deal with him. Your  tax dollars at work.

Gert, your post floored me.  I thought, from the subject heading, you were kidding!  My mum always said your undies had to be ironed as well.  The one and only time I was carted away in an ambulance they didn't check my knckers - very disappointing!

So glad that you have come through it all, but take extra care of yourself.

Yes Gert, the knees were creaking and were going to give up before the heart I think.

Gert, so pleased you are OK and did all the right things. Dreadful jaw and toothache can also be a sign of a heart attack. I also noticed you were MIA.

Always interesting what you see in an Emergency Department  ;D
