Hello from the North West
« on: October 04, 2012, 02:36:11 am »
:D  Hi all, my name is Simone but am commonly know as PES.  I currently live in a mining town in the North West of WA known as Tom Price.  I am a fairly new TM owner and so far love all the things I have tried.  My 2 school age children love all the deserts and cookies I have made, my hubby is a mash connoisseur and is suitably impressed with the TM version, and me well I can't go past the cocktails!!!!!  Looking forward to hearing all you stories and trying out your recipes.  Happy Cooking

Hi Pes, welcome to the forum.  I imagine using the TMX is much better to cook with in such a hot place - at the end of the day a nice cocktail goes down a treat too.

Welcome PES.  You will now be able to make things that might be difficult to buy where you live.

Thanks for the welcome everyone.  :-*

Yes the TM does make it easier to cook rather then heating up the house - air-con already on!!

I made Peanut paste ice-cream today, this should satisfy the kids as it's ice-cream and myself as I looooove peanut paste!!  Kept hubby happy yesterday with Anzac Biscuits, best I have ever made.  Also adapted my favourite Banana Bread recipe for the TM, turned out okay but needs a bit of tweaking.

Commented to hubby after making my second batch of Tomato Sauce, "our kids will think commercially made sauce tastes funny after having homemade on a regular basis".   ;D
