What are the Kids doing Today

DS just woke up grumpy (cold coming on, maybe), and now DD is joining in.   

Not helpful that due to earlier grumpiness, DH banned him from TV, so no calming down with that today.  Oh, well, got a friend of his coming for a play later on, so that should provide some distraction.  Although those two boys together seem to make a LOT of mess, and get in plenty of arguments - they've known each other all their lives and sometimes I think they forget they are not 3 anymore and they do actually know how to work things out now.

We're getting to the part of the season now that I realize it's closer to winter than summer.  I hung out washing yesterday (on a fine day), and got it in at the end of the day NOT DRY!!    Definitely no slip'n'slides here.

Hahaha,  did that on my phone and no idea how to turn it round. Might have to send it to myself to fix it on the pc

Kids have played well most of the day today. Rearranged DD s room today - hoping it will help it stay tidy.

I have one kid, instead of 5 for the afternoon, so its quiet.

DS back to school today  He was looking forward to seeing all his friends again.
DD and I had playcentre this morning which was pretty fun, although very noisy as it's extremely wet outside, so all the kids were inside.  Have a bit of a headache, but DD brought her friend home with us, so they are off playing while I recover from the morning!

Miss6 back to school today again, other 2 not at all impressed to be woken up instead of being left to sleep in.......nuf said!!!

DS at school.  DD has been at kindy, but I've picked her up an hour early today as she hasn't been doing well since they extended the days (she's gotten VERY clingy to me - and not just at kindy).  She seemed a lot more lively when I picked her up today.  Leaving her this morning was hard, but apparently she settled down very quickly.  I hope that stops soon though as it's heartbreaking to walk away from my baby while she cries out for me!    

The kids and DH are off to watch a basketball game tonight, but sadly I have a meeting to go to, so don't get to go this time. Grrr.  Next time (we got season passes  )
