Hi All,

Sorry for late reply. Had a lovely weekend away... sun sea food :)

So it seems that the issue has been explained. We are just plain old .com and nothing else.... However will be working on SEO soon (my profession) so that we get more natural rankings for various ketwords. FYI, people actually prefer to click natural rankings than paid ads in Google.

Anyway, god bless this forum. Going from strength to strength. Spread the message of out great community. We ain't seen nothing yet.

Nigt night all. Going to bed

MM

Yes MM and Helene, it certainly is very interesting ! I'm amazed at Thermomix Malaysia too, that really is dirty play ! It seems in business these days there is no limit to what they will do !

I remember when researching Thermomix before I bought mine (just a couple of years ago), doing a google search for Thermomix only returned a few links ....... these days there are heaps !!

Ohh, Also, I typed in thermomixforum.com.au and it also directed me to Recipe Community, so they've registered that too ! HO must be soooooo insanely jealous of this forum to go to those lengths  !

That was great spotting Debbie.

HO au must have finally got themselves a savvy  IT person. Instead of trying to  copy, mimic, steal, imitate, and mock maybe they should concentrate on making their own " forum" better. What a joke.  Better still they should encourage all their customers  to find the sites that inform them best with usuable tried and true recipes. Also they need to smarten up their boring and outdated bland site.  They can work behind the scenes but they sure know bugger all about how to really attract  the smart ones to their site. Boring boring boring and it seems just one person all the time reviewing the same old things.

Seems we hae a great deal of clued up customers right here MM?

Well done us.

Nothing can be done about it unless you have a "branded" name like quotas, coca cola etc that some one has registered. I found this out when this despicable person registered my domain names after my IT people only registered .com  this person went ahead and registered .com.au (which is what I should've had in the first place anyway). She would not give them up and said "everything has its price" so I went and changed my domain name altogether and registered every possible domain associated.

Shame on you Australian franchise for this wonderful machine for stooping so low. One good reason to bookmark this website.

Marie, I've been getting that message to so just presume the forum is down for a short time for maintenance work or something like that.  If you can access other sites, you know it is just a forum problem and luckily they have been very short off air times.

I am mainly on the forum at work and it is often really slow and sometimes have connection problems when going from page to page, like 5 minutes ago. I then close down and try again in a few minutes

I have had the same message while trying to post here as well, as Courton and Emme.
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

This is all very interesting  but not at all surprising knowing what lengths to which certain nasty people will go. Success breeds jealousy.

Usually these people will engineer their own  demise. I find word of mouth loudly will  often do the trick with tricksters.

These people thrive on putting some people down , waste so much energy trying to bring others down and in the process do not pay attention to taking care of their own business. Big mistake.

Sadly CP there are many despicable people trying to hijack someone else's work for their own benefit. Worse still there are many people willing to aid and  abet It is no different in the THERMOTHINGY world.

Eventually  the people at the bottom and the tippy top get sick of these  tactics and rumours start flying around the Thermothingy world.  The Thermomix reputation in Europe is one thing  but here?????

Keep  your eyes and ears open. Something  good may be happening in the future.   Some things take time so patience is needed.

My DH is the tech-savvy person in our house - and after he saw how much time I spend on the forum, he changed my internet homepage to the forum, so as soon as I connect to the internet, the forum is the first page that automatically comes up  ;D  ;D  Not that I EVER let it distract me from whatever I went on the internet to do in the first place  :-))
