Sorry Gretchen, had to delete the link to that forum as MM would not approve of it.  I'm sure it would be easy to find if people really needed to or they could pm you.  :-* :-*

Happened to see that forum yesterday as I was browsing. Gretch you could see if you can get a new rubber button and face for the TM, it may not cost much and would be better for resale or just preserving it. I know what you are getting at tho. You know that you would use the other machine, so go with your head and heart.

I've put a post on my blog at MM's request. http://bushgourmand.blogspot.com.au/2012/10/thermomix-forum.html
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Great idea MJ, I don't have a blog, so just made a comment under your blog post supporting what you said  :)
If others with blogs let us know I can do the same, I guess it's all about talking and mentioning www.forumthermomix.com to create as much 'talk' about this site as opposed to the other one....I think the more www.forumthermomix.com is mentioned online the more likely Google will 'bump' it or keep it at the top when people search for it....

The word mendacious comes to mind.

If you are interested in who purchased the domain name  you need only to go here.
