I have never thought seriously about a dehydrator. But I think I will get one and see how I go. I thought I could vacuum seal dried fruits etc and they should keep well.

Some of these threads are getting as tempting as the shopping thread. I never thought about a dehydrator before but think I might have to give them a try.  :-\

Joining this forum could prove to be dangerous - one of the reasons I bought my Thermomix was to de-clutter the kitchen but since reading some of these threads I think I 'need' an ice cream maker, pie maker and now a dehydrator!  Luckily I already have the pizza machine.

It is getting hard to resist the temptation but I don't want one of those big ones.  How are the smaller round types, are they worth getting for people who don't want to do an awful lot of drying?
