I am a little confused! When cooking do you need to use the reverse
or is it only when it is stipulated? I think the manual doesn't really give much info on cooking. Still love it though

Hi Scats, you only need to use reverse when the recipe says so

It basically stops things from breaking up too much.

I've used reverse sometimes and the recipe hasn't said to use it but it's as Chookie said, saves knocking the food around - a nice technical term

The blades work in reverse and the direction they go in means the sharp side of the blades is not cutting the food
