Me too Amy. I hate the dentist. Only because of the expense. I have top cover and always have to hand over money for thr gap.
When are you going Amy?

I don't like the dentist, after having 2 crowns 2 years ago, and 1 got infected, and I had to spend another 3 hors there, and then the bill, even after top cover

Love the fact you enjoy the holidays with your children, Robyn . . . I used to love school holidays, too.  A friend's daughter moans the whole time . . . It makes me sad and I feel sorry for her (and her children!)

Goldfish, I was so excited last nite, thinking, I have the kids fr 6 weeks and no school.

Kids can come to work and play here with us, go on play dates, then we have 2 weeks off at home, back to work for 1 week, the beach for 1 week, then back to work for the last week, then school again.

Think I will bring one of my thermomthingys to work. :)

I'm glad you are excited about spending time with the kids Robyn.  I have very fond memories of the summer holidays as a kid.

It is always sad to hear parents complaining about school holidays and how they are going to entertain the kids.  It only takes a little imagination or a quick internet search and you can create a list so long that the holidays will fly past without breaking the bank balance.

doesn't cost much to entertain my 2.

At work,
They can go kick a ball out the back, they have laptops, a TV and DVD at work for them.
A play room set up, just for them, bean bags, beds, heaps of toys, games.

Google can find color ins and craft stuff so quickly, it is great, :)
