How lovely Judy.

There are so many lovely people on here. Big applause to one and all.

I am still puzzled about the generous giver pf the vanilla pods I received....

Well I know I joked a while back about  knitting dishcloths.... ( Learnt to do this age 6).
Perhaps I could start making scrubbies as a meaningful occupation while nannying!!  Out of farmer twine as that's all I have to hard, now there's an idea.

It's knitted in garter stitch and is about 9cm square.  The knitting ribbon used is basically white but has different colours popping up every now and then IYKWIM - it must have a special name but it's been years since I knitted or did craft work.  Someone out there must know what I am talking about.

The word I was looking for was variegated yarn.

Would have to be tiny needles. Maybe Amy thinking about my lovely mug hugger.

I found this and am wondering if this is how they are made although how do the multi coloured rows appear, tuille doesn't come in a mixture of colours all on the same roll does it?

Then I found an update of the above and it is about the same size as mine so I think we are getting close  ;D.

How lovely for you JD.  Very exciting :) ;D
I'm very happy that my  SS  pressie arrived today. I will be very good and put it under the Christmas tree (once we put it up!). My family has a strong tradition of not opening pressies early, so I will be good. Mind you, DH's family is the complete opposite. His mum has already got her Christmas present from us, and she has finished reading it LOL.

And Amy is well brought up and  discreet. She won't tell. But she could be bribe able.
