Thank you

It's suggested that you do this every two years.

We only replace ours when it either breaks or has a really strong smell from something I've cooked :-))

Hi Radha, nice to hear from you again.  It pays to have a spare one on hand I think and if you don't fix the lid to the bowl after use, it will last longer.

Good tip JD thanx. So just because I'm totally ignorant: where should the lid be stored? Or did you mean just sit it on top without securing it proper :)

I rest my lid upside-down on the top of the jug with the MC, also upside-down, to one side of the central hole of the lid so that air moves freely around everything.

I also don't put lid or MC on when TMX not in use, I think it helps to eliminate lingering smells.

That's a good idea. I always leave the lid on and sometimes smell garlic and onions.
With the lid off airflow will improve :)

This is what I do, I thought that's what the hook on the lid was for and when me consultant saw it when she came back to do my demo she thought is was brilliant and was going to do it and tell her customers as well

When my TM is not in use the lid hangs by the hook on the front of the bowl.  :)

Exactly what I used to tell everyone to do and it's on a thread here somewhere regarding a smelly lid. Your seal should be replaced every two years or before if you get a split in it and the lid starts to leak when you are using your TMX  ;) I have only ever replaced mine when they have split  :-))

I hang the lid of the back just to the side of the pourer on the bowl - it seems to fit a little bit more easily than hanging it off the front

Ooh, I had no idea!
I just sit my lid on top of the machine, without latching it on and I've never changed the seal in 5 years.
