was just thinking they need an index and search facility for all of the indexes of their books, on the tmx site too!

There is a TMX site which has the indexes of their books?  I often read references to sites I'm unaware of while browsing through the posts here.  Would it perhaps be possible to have a Useful Links thread?

Re the English books - how do I go about getting one?

Hi Amanda,
You have 3 options. You can contact your consultant to order them for you, contact HQ or you can order them from the UK site.  HQ have some books in stock.

One thing I would say, having just got the 2nd edition of the book this morning as a present for someone - make sure you're getting the 2nd edition.  I have the first, and it really isn't different enough to justify buying myself the 2nd edition.  But the 2nd editions is better than the 1st (guess that's why they went to the effort to produce it  ).  It was the comment that HQ has some in stock which makes me say this - I'd just double check first that they're 2nd edition, personally.  Not sure how long it's been out for, but certainly not for many months.

For instance, would you believe that the question I asked on this forum about whether it was possible to make my own chick pea flour in the TMX is answered (with precise instructions) in the basics section now?!

I just got an email back from Aus HQ and they said that they don't stock the English cookbooks and they recommended that that I buy them through the UK website.

If you can wait 6mths Im going back to UK for Xmas so am going to order the UK books and bring back with me, I got a quote from them to post to Aus and it made them so expensive!

I have really enjoyed some recipes from my UK books. Funnily enough, I think I reduced my tablespoon measure by a bit when I tried some recipes (due to prior warning) - but when I gave my spoons a really good look the other day they are actually UK friendly  I have x2 different types, but both appear to be UK based and not Oz. Now I am going to have to try and find some Ozzie measurements I suppose  I also realise that 5g here and there is probably not going to make much diff unless its a spice. Has anyone else found this?
