Flavourofthemonth, I bought my Nigella seeds at an Indian grocer too. Just keep them separate as mine developed little grubs after a few months. Or better still put them in the freezer.

Thanks Hally - looks great!!!! I have just ordered "Spice" and "stirfry" and they should be in Adelaide for when I get home. Since being over here I have seen Christine Mansfields India book and have been trying to decide if I will buy it. Back home it's around $85 here I can get it for $50 but like all her books it's quite large.
