Must be a Glaswegian thing Cuilidh as my mum is from Glasgow and she likes subway!
It is difficult at times but I made it clear that if I want to eat in a nice restaurant and there is nothing she can see on the menu then we can go to a cafe for a sandwich for her before or after I eat. She has always been this way but much worse now that she is older.
I try to be patient as she is almost 80 and she won't change now. So far so good but will see what today brings as I want to go out for a nice lunch today

These ones have come out really big and they slide if you move from side to side.

No it's a golf course on the other side of the lake Marie. It protrudes out to the lake on both sides. The lake has three distinct sections that all kind of join up at that golf course.

Marie this is a shot from the gondola looking straight down. Kind of shows you what I mean. This was from last time I was here and photo from my phone so maybe not great quality. The golf course is the furthest away peninsula

It is lovely and loads to see and do for all age groups. My kids ( all grown up as you know) all love it here Jade loved it in the winter season and went snow boarding and skiing every day. I am sure you would enjoy it Amy

What a gorgeous view MF. I don't think I would ever get out of bed if I could look at that each day.
