Hi all,
Just got my new thermomix yesterday... Very excited!! Made some cupcakes and changed a beef stroganoff to a chicken one last night with mash..... Was absolutely delicious!! Hubby happy with our investment!!
We are in brisbane and We have a two year old son and I will 8 weeks off giving birth to our second son. I am hoping that this willl help me at dinner time and baby foo, with minimal mess. I was very impressed yesterday and can't wait to try more recipes out.
Very excited!!

Welcome to the forum.
You'll find the TMX time saving with a new baby. We all say we wished we had a TMX when our children were young.

Welcome and congratulations all around what an exciting time in your life, soon you will not know how to cook without the Thermomix, and what a bonus that you don't have to stand at the stove and stir, one of the features that I love. I've just had lovely creamy porridge for my breakfast, what a bonus that your hubby was happy for you to have it, so many can't justify the purchase at first.

Hi & welcome
I just got my machine last Friday, and loving it too - my kids are a little older (3 & 5) but loving how I can chuck things in and then it looks after it for me until it's ready
Very handy at what can be a dificult time of day!
Yum, we had beef strog and mash the other night too - the mashed potatoes were demolished in record time!

Hello and Welcome lmi55.
Congratulations on you new TM and your soon-to-be new baby.
I had my TM when my youngest started on solids and she is the best eater of my 3 kids, But I was plesently surprised with what they will all eat now. The TM has been a very worthwhile investment in our house. You will love it!

Hi Imi, welcome to the forum. Your first meal sounded delicious - it's nice to get straight into it and have success. It took me a while to get the hang of mine 4 years ago but most people just seem to have success from day 1. I think it helps to have so much available on the internet these days, there was very little in English back when I bought mine. This forum is a great resource for Thermomix owners so do enjoy your time on here and your growing family of little boys.

Welcome Imi55. Sounds like you are off to a great start with your Thermie. Would you believe I've had my machine for almost 2 months now and I've still never made mash!

Hello and welcome Imi55. Tmx definitely saves you time and you can use it with only one hand so frees up other to hold baby (probably not recommended though)!

Welcome Immi
I love my TMX for "arsenic" hour! I only wish I had it when I had a newborn!
