Hi everyone, just running this idea past you all after being given the thumbs up by Amanda and a couple of other locals.
My daughter lives at Glenelg on the marina and I ran an idea past her yesterday - she said yes to the idea.
How would you all like to drop your luggage off at their place after we check out of the hotel (getting down there will all be arranged later), walk down to this tourist shopping precinct (a 10 minute walk), browse the shops, return to Jo's place and enjoy a lovely High Tea in the early afternoon? Because we will be having a big breakfast at the hotel I am thinking none of us will want lunch so by early afternoon we will be hungry enough to appreciate all the goodies on offer. I am suggesting this take place at 1.30 - 2pm for a couple of hours and as the airport is only 7 minutes away from their place, those with flights booked for late afternoon will be there in no time. Katie has offered to do the airport run but I'm sure other locals who will have their cars would be willing to do the same.
This day will be a completely free day, apart from what you spend at the shops of course and if you are interested please let me know. Numbers will need to be known ahead of time as this retreat draws closer. Those from interstate who were wondering what we could do on the Sunday to make the most of this weekend could make sure they book a return flight to work in with the above arrangement. Local retreaters not staying at the hotel but who are joining us for the daily activities are also invited.

Judy how wonderful. It is lovely down at Glenelg, DH and I were surprised at how much it has grown since we were there last. I'm sure everyone would love it.
Perhaps next time Gert.
