Thanks for having some Haighs for me MF, that is kind of you. They give you a couple of tastes during the tour. I can vouch for the seconds that are available, they are still delicious.

Just booked the Haig's factory tour for Friday 16th August at 1.30 pm.  It is a 20-30 minute tour and they will give us vouchers for discount off purchases.  So we now have the market tour at 9.30am and the chocolate tour at 1.30pm which leaves us plenty of free time afterwards to hit the shops in Rundle Mall or wherever we would like to go.

We'll be taken there by private vehicle - Karen & Katie obliging here.  11 people at the moment, 7 in Karen's and 4 with Katie.

I've been resisting looking at this thread as I've been waiting on work to confirm an overseas trip which is scheduled for the two weeks after this weekend (Leaving Sunday night), and i didn't want to be dissapointed until I knew for sure. Unfortunately with the deadline looming it's looks definite that I will be away for the last 2 weeks in August, so it's a bit unfair on DH to add another few days to my trip when he will have the kids all alone for the 2 weeks I'm already away.

Sorry if this messes up any plans, I haven't been to any of the places and was really looking forward to meeting you all.

Have a great time.

Sorry your busy schedule prevents you coming Wonder, there will be more of these retreats.  I'm sure we will all be wanting them to become a yearly thing. Some of us will be meeting you at Chookie's so that's something to look forward to.

Uni the only thing I'll have to pay in advance will be the bus hire for our Saturday trip so I can let you know the details of that once it's booked.

All sounds like very good fun.  Wish DH and I could be there,  maybe next year.  He would have loved the cocky tour and I just love Adelaide Market.  The goodies bag was great fun.  We stayed at Freo after Grace town,  and snacked on the goodies for a couple of days.   Have a great time,  toast absent friends,  we will do same as we fly out to Turkey on the 16 th.
