I have emailed Amanda and asked her to contact me when she returns from the Whitsundays.  In the meantime with the input I have, I will make a list of options.

Kim, if you are coming on Friday I would get here as early as possible.  I am hoping to be able to get some help with airport pick ups but it is close to the city and would only be approx. a $20 fare if we can't get to everyone due to all the different arrival times.

:( will be odd then turning up a day later but with the kids there is no way i could get there on thursday and possibly only friday night.. May have to rethink the whole trip!  Will get back to you..

Can't wait CC ;D Been  looking at flights for weeks on and off but got email from qantas today and said yes I want  to go so just booked now.
Went out for dinner with DH, DIL and baby Sophie tonight as DS 2'was out with DS 1, his brother obviously, at business meeting. Busy day here but fantastic outcome   ;D

Hotel booked now also... Crowne Plaza 3 nights. Thursday to Sunday  :)
