Hello again!
I now have my lovely Thermie! I received it just before Christmas, and didn't want to risk making any of my tried and true recipes in it...so I've managed to use it so far for chocolate mousse, to whip cream, made 2 lots of creme anglais (made meringues so have a mound of egg yolks to use up) and made mushroom risotto tonight.
I love it!
Now I guess I'll have to poke about the rest of the forum.
