He is not allergic is he hally? Seems like he is having a reaction as my kids have both been stung by bees and once the stinger is out it settles down.. Not straight away but certainly isnt hurting enough for them to cry or be in pain.. Do you have any kind of insect cream for bites???

I wouldnt panic but would be taking him to the hospital or a gp straight away..

Poor cp and poor h

Hally here is a site for whats normal for a bee sting

http://ask.metafilter.com/127798/Whats-normal-for-a-bee-sting

Says he is having a reaction but not allergic like as in will Not go into shock or anything..

They say to take an antihistamine basically..
Has he ever been bitten before.. I would see a gp about it as some ppls reactions get worse each time they get bitten.. Something to watch out for.. Hope he is ok.. Poor little man..

Gosh Hally, that's not good - hope CP has settled a bit. Not a good start to your holiday, hopefully it improves from here once you can get to the chemist.

Happy birthday to DH too.

Morning girls, I hope CP is feeling a little bit better with the ice pack when you get to the chemist maybe get an antihistamine to keep in your bag just in case.  Can you give him some panadol to ease the pain.

He is bed eating eggs & ham :) so thats a good sign, dh will have to eat breakfast  in bed another day. He is happy eating :)

No childs panadol & no bi carb, of course we have vinegar. The first time ever no medicine. Pharmacr across the road so I thought we were covered.

He should  be a lot better when we get him stingose & panadaol.

Thanks for all your help.

oH dear.
Could you give CP an adult panadol?. Look on the box for the doses. My kids don't have the kids panadol anymore.
Hope he feels better soon.
Wish your DH a happy birthday.

The shock will be easing too Hally. A first sting is a big shock!
Bald he is eating and perking up, good sign.
The rest of the holiday will be better.  :)

He seemed fine yesterday, then he started crying this morning.

He seems quite a bit better now, he finished breakfast with chocolate :)
