New aussie Thermie owner
« on: December 28, 2012, 10:45:50 pm »
;D Well I am very happy to have found another great thermomix forum and community to play with. I live in Melbourne and have had my Thermie for about 2 months - it currently sits on the bench in the beach house we have rented for the week...can't wait to make those cocktails on New Years Eve...

My main reason for purchasing was to start making my kids their school snacks/rolls/biscuits and start substituting some ingredients to increase the nutrition in their diets...this is still a major factor for me, but I have also experimented with all myfavourite mexican recipes and dips, and having a ball with that too - and homemade pizza!

Looking forward to getting to know some of you guys and your journey with the Thermie
Jen

Hi Jen from another Melbourneite. I take my Thermie with me in the caravan, it's comforting to know that you can whip something up IF you want to. Pop in often and see what we are all up too but be careful this forum is addictive.

Hello and welcome, Jen
TM is great for taking the packaged nasties out of lunchboxes (and not just the kids lunchboxes either!!) and adding nutrition.  :D
How many kids do you have?
:D

Welcome Jen. Like Aussie Brenda I take the thermomix away in the caravan too.

Hi Jen. Welcome to the forum. I'm another Melbourne girl.  Wish I could take my thermie on holidays but where we go we don't have power !

This is a great forum for the knowledge these guys and ladies have about the machine and its use.
I do the best I can
