HO have removed their blog
« on: December 30, 2012, 12:59:45 am »
I just discovered this comment when I clicked onto an old link of H.O's recipe blog (Australia).

Blog has been removed

Sorry, the blog at thermorecipes.blogspot.com has been removed. This address is not available for new blogs.

OH bugger :o :o I wonder what is going to happen to all the recipes that were on there?? Hope they make it over to the recipe community as there was some good ones on there. That now means that all my bookmarks to them won't work  :'( :'(

I never even knew there was a blog! Never go to the recipe community either as the recipes cannot  be trusted.

In the early days they would have themed competitions and post recipes submitted by customers, others would vote on them and the winners were given prizes of books usually. Cookie, Thermomixer and I all won one at some stage. Maybe there was no need for it now they have their recipe website.  I don't know how long it has been gone.

I'm not sure I ever knew there was a blog either.
I suppose they own all the recipes that were there now, so they'll just absorb them onto their site.

I'm not sure about Judy's or Thermomixers but mine is on the recipe community with no acknowledgement. I think I told them and was told that I could ask them to change it, just had to prove it was my recipe. Couldn't be bothered with it.

Not right to do that Cookie.  Robo Gourmet did the same to me.  It seems that once you post a recipe it is fair game for anyone to make a small change then publish it as their own.  Makes you wonder,  should you share ?

Are you trying to get me to get my soap box out one more time before the end  of the year?

It is all about ethics.
