Sorry if this has already been introduced but just joined this website this morning.  Have added all my cookbooks and magazines and it is great.  American site but most of our Australian mags are indexed and definitely most of the cookbooks we have.  Great for searching for recipes in books and mags you already own.  Check it out.

I started with the free and very quickly saw the benefit of paying $2.50/ month US. I have digital mags and books as well as paper and I have often thought that I don't use them as much as I could.  This is brilliant.  I'm very impressed.

Good to hear. I have looked at this many, many times and often wondered if there was value in a paid subscription. Thanks for the feedback

Quote.  Eat Your Books is an electronic bookmarking service where you can create your own virtual bookshelf, add all your titles to it and never miss a recipe again. Once set up – and this only takes minutes, simply enter whatever recipe your looking for and the database will give you a list of all the recipes that match the search criteria contained in all of your cookbooks and mags! More titles are being indexed everyday, including my first e-cookbook My Whole Food Philosophy. You can also view my bookshelf here.

The service is quite affordable for serious recipe lovers, starting with no fee for upto 5 cookbooks and unlimited titles at $2.50 a month or $25 a year.

Many blogs are also listed and there is also an option to add your personal recipes or bookmark recipes found online, so you can search them too once added to your shelf. How great is that?!!!

This does sound impressive. I tend to sit down to look for a recipe, get very frustrated when I can't find it, then the next stage is I am finding all these recipes I haven't tried. Not sure if I would buy it though, but I will certainly check it out.

I have added 5 books which is what you are allowed free.

So far very pleased, have searched via ingredients,  put in 3 & a seection of recipes came up.  I am going to play more. :)

This seems to be a great way of really using your  books rather than spending hours looking through.

H :)

Loving it, i think I will pay the us$25 for the annual membership :)

Ok ok ok, paid up for the year :) now getting confused which aww books I have :)

Jude, thank you for this.

I am loving it, so far loaded about 20 books on, heaps more to do :)

Have been playing, love that you can search ingredients, ie pork, cream, onions or whatever & every recipe that has these ingredients in comes up.

This is just brilliant :)
