I love this site, so far works well for me.

I chose to pay the annual membership as in the past trying to cancel monthly orders has been a nightmare..

Yes some of my books are not listed & not even on. Good Food magazine & Masterchef magazine dont seem to be on either.

I spend  hours tagging pages in book, but can never remember which book etc

Benefits
Menu planning without my books
Finally will get to cook from books & magazines, especially magazies that I havent used. The value is there for me just in that.
Typing in an ingredient & several reciepes come up, great last night.
A big time saver

Negatives
Not all books & magazines listed

Action,
am in process of listing all my books & mags
Will put all mags in date order
Sort out recipe books into authors & into listed on here & not listed on here.

I put the free 5 books up initially & soon realised I needed to add more.

 :)

Cream Puff, just typed in Eggplants & 110 recipes came up, you would then refine  by adding more ingredients :)

I have just been looking through the very first Dish mag - 2004 I think it is and it's still inspiring.  There is an interesting soft boiled egg mayo recipe in there that I need to try.

I have put on over 100 now,  but have found that 33 are not indexed. i have requested that they be indexed but believe it depends upon how many people request a particular book.  Still need to test if it is going to work.

So Hally Australian Good Food is not on it. Is the BBC Good Food on there?  I have almost every delicious magazine, is Delicious on there please?
I could see a good use for it with magazines. I also have heaps of the older WW books, does anyone know if they are on there too please?

I have just gone with the free 5 books for now. There are lots of WW books and older ones too Cookie but not all.

Cookie,  this may help.  I have now indexed all my books.  307   Only 100 have been indexed by the site,  that means that I have requested 2/3 of my library to be considered for indexation.  I have now about 100 that are not in the site library.  I have physically organised then in alphabetical order by author.  This has taken 3 days.
I tested the search ability by asking for recipes for prawn shells and was more than satisfied with what it came up with.
For me it is well worth the money,  as I am not using my books enough.
I still have to do the magazines.

Cookie, I joined up the last day we were in busselton. So far have done 3 recipes from my cook books that I wouldnt nrmally do.

I have seen quite a few magazine recipes come up too that I would  never do. The reason because I cany physically go through every mag :)

I entered baby eggplany as I was given 6. Tuesday a new dish from a slow cooker book using pork & baby eggplant.

I just love it & dh sees the value too.

When We have coffee I can show you :)

I still have lots to add, more time this week with eb gone.

H :)

Hally, you really do need time to enter your books.  It has been a heat wave here,  so good chance to stay in side and do this.  Coffee?

I agree about not using books enough. I often spend hours looking for a recipe and eventually give up. Then I find it months later. Thanks for your help. :-*

I joined with the free trial & have 4 books only so far. Most of the books I own don't seem to be there. I don't really get how you index your own books. Does that mean that you have to type in the index & tag it all? It seems like a lot of work!
