I know exactly where my iPad is now a days. My DH has it. I nearly have to fight it from him. I want to buy him one but he insists he doesn't want a new one. I'm secretly chatting to DD to upgrade hers and give him her ipad2.

It sounds as if he definitely needs his own Cookie.  Wonder if Father Christmas is taking orders yet ?

For the price this machine is worth it, I just  love it for breads & frittata. I did feel guilty purchasing this as our iven was iver $10,000 but so far its been fab :)

Maybe one  day. Will do pizza............

OK, so questions for people using this machine based on my own experiences....
I'm finding it difficult to roll a base and have it all fit in the machine. I find I always have bits sticking out. What are others doing to avoid this?
Are you topping your base when in the machine? I've tried making the pizza on the bench and moving the whole thing to the stone (messy disaster) and putting the base in then putting the toppings on. The second option is less messy but I'm thinking the oven is open so long it might be cooling down a bit too much?
What temp do you use for your normal tomato, meat/veg, cheese pizza?
I'm trying to learn from others experience so I don't have to do all the hard work myself!

I roll my dough out on a bit of baking paper, top the pizza, and then lift with the baking paper onto the stone. Keeps the stone relatively clean too

That's what we do CP....
DS had a pizza night with friends at their place last  night and used the gas pizza oven that we got free with our outdoor setting last week.
He said it was awesome and cooked three large pizzas at once and he said great with crispy bases and very quick. Why did I gift it to him  ;)
Never mind I loved outdoor setting  :D

Perhaps you could draw a circle on the baking paper and stay within that with your dough Brumington - yours are obviously too big for the pizza maker. Use your pizza stone as a template but roll the dough to leave a 2cm gap around the edge.

I'm tempted to buy one of these frittata machines too... I don't like using the oven much ...
How much cupboard space do they take up, is it very large?  This is the only thing stopping me so far as I imagine it would take heaps of room to store ?

Add me to the list! I bought one when we first discussed it and bought another on special after Maddy started this thread. I have one in each house now.

I love it! Haven't made Frittata yet, must get around to doing that, as well as naan.

I bought two small pizza tins to use when I top the pizzas, then just slide the pizzas on to the base.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Thanks for the advice Creampuff and JD. I knew I'd get the answers from the clever forum members rather than have to figure it out myself!
