Belated hello!
«

Hey there everyone,
I bought my thermie about 3 months ago and have been stalking this very helpful website for a little while, so thought I should jump in and say thanks for all the helpful info I've gained so far.
I had a little demo on delivery of my thermie (did the custard) and attended a cooking class prior to purchase, but most of what I've learned has been off this site
Just one question for now: can somebody tell me the difference between cooking at 100C and at varoma temp?
Thanks!

Hi and welcome to the forum. Glad you have been helped in your early days - it is a great site, if the answer isn't here, someone will find it for you. Do let us know what you think of our recipes, we have a review section so would appreciate some feed back.

Hi Keggers and welcome!
You use the Varoma temperature when steaming as 100
c
C isn't hot enough to ensure the steam heats the food enough
