Mayonnaise
« on: January 15, 2013, 10:32:42 am »
I have never had trouble making the edc. Ayonnaise in over two years.
However my last two attempts have been very runny.
It has been quite hot and humid recently. Could this be the culprit?
Please help.  Is there another recipe that is not so temperamental?

are you using lemon juice or vinegar sarsryan? I find lemon juice can cause me grief (there is a large thread on here somewhere will try and find it for you) but have no problems with using white vinegar.

Thank you. I was usung lemon juice! Another thing I realised was that the juice and the mustard were not at room temp in the cooler monthsthat didn't seem to matter, but know it is so hot and humid perhaps it is a factor?  Thanks for the tip!
