Really Really Really Annoyed - Online Shopping!!

I thought I had the online shopping thing figured out.
In the fruit and veg section, the little boxes all say "each". So I assumed you type how many of the item you want. So...
I asked for 12 bananas, I got 12 bananas.
I asked for 2 pineapples, I got 2 pineapples.
I asked for 8 apples, I got 8 apples.
I asked for 12 potatoes, I got... 12 KILOGRAMS of potatoes

Has anyone else had this problem? Why does it have to be so hard? Uhhh, so not in the mood for this!!!

Sorry, rant over. Now I just need to figure out what to do with 12 kilos of potatoes!!!!

Lol ... Oh dear... Yep this has happened before! You've got to read the amounts very very carefully as some are per kilo or parts thereof.. Where some are per unit .... You can check by phone if you like but I think you might find that's what you've actually ordered!

Um that's a lot of potatoes!!!
I would contact them Amy, and see if some can be returned....worth a try....let them know that it wasn't clear enough when ordering the quantity.

Oh dear. I would contact them and see what they can do. Don't hold your breath though. I had dramas with online shopping last week and the call centre was not very helpful.

1kg per day.... Keep rest in very dark place... You'll use them up, Amy but see what the store says....

Ring them ww on line are great, they will probably refund you for some. Thy are very good at that.

Or tell you they don't take "perishables" back.. As they did with me...call them ASAP.. See what they can suggest!

Will take them back tomorrow, because we need to get the eggs and milk that they didn't send with our order

I did this on my first online shopping experience. Ordered 7kg of bananas when I thought I was ordering 7 bananas. I called them with my order number and they refunded me and I got to keep the bananas! Made lots of yummy banana bread which I froze and gave some bananas to mum too.

Give them a call. I think I remember them saying you can't return perishables but they were kind enough to refund me.
