Made these tonight Cookie1.  Your ramekins must be smaller than mine as I could only fit 3 in or it may have been because I wanted to put the tray on top with some vegies to steam at the same time. I put the 4th little fella up there with the vegies but he wasn't too happy being separated from his mates and didn't cook properly.  I just zapped him for 1 minute in the microwave - that fixed him.  Kept the 2 I wanted for tea warm in the thermosaver whilst I made the custard. Do they reheat OK the next day?  Made them with jam tonight & will try golden syrup next time - very nice.  Thanks for the posting.

Stewed some apples today then used this recipe to finish them off.  Worked a treat and big enough for DH and me to share one for dessert.

I'm hungry, did you have icecream or cream with them? Great idea Judy, I often put sultanas in them.

Turned it out of the ramekin and poured cream over - quite a large serving really so we shared one.

I've been looking for a recipe like this for ages! Yippee!

A few weeks ago I had a go at making lemon butter. (This was before I was a TM Owner). Well it didn't quite work, after stirring for over 40 minutes... (wouldn't have to do that in Thermie) it wouldn't thicken  >:(.  I refused to waste it though because it's the perfect consistency for pooring over pudding. Ta dah!  Now I can!!!!

It's DH's b'day tomorrow, I might have to get some ramekins tomorrow and make them for him.

MY boys love steamed sponge puddings but I've always been too scared to make them.  I knew there'd be a recipe for the tmx steamed puddings somewhere so I bought some pudding bowls just the other day - going to make this tomorrow!

One with jam (do you think my home made pllum jam will work?), a chocolate and a golden syrup - how popular will I be???

darn it - this was a skill I should never have learnt!  ;)

That was delicious - I made one big one, with golden syrup!

I have a child that needs feeding up so steamed sponge could become a regular in our house .....  As an aside, 1/2 way through (OK I'd just started) I remembered I had no eggs.  It worked just as well without!
