Hi everyone,
My name is Fatima and I'm a mum of 3 beautiful bubs - 5 year old DD, 3 year old DD and 8 month old DS
My eldest is starting prep this year so it feels like wow where did the time go? Live in the north of Melbourne. Just became a Thermomix consultant
Finished my training today and got my first demo next week! I am of Pakistani background and my husband is Lebanese and I love to cook from everywhere in the world so I love trying new things! I have a lovely group leader - Anita - and saw a new area when I went for training Cherokee which I thought was beautiful! I need to move out of the suburbs!
Anyways I've greatly benefited from the forum and looking forward to learning heaps more and also contributing where I can.

Hi Fatima, welcome to the forum. Good luck with your first demo - I hope you have lots of friends who are lining up for them.
With the different cultures in your household how do you get on with cooking - does DH enjoy Pakistani food or does he like you to cook Lebanese dishes for him. Maybe a bit of both
In time, perhaps you will have some of your favourite recipes converted to the Thermomix which you could share with us. Good luck with your work as a consultant.

Luckily my DH eats everything! lol. so I cook from everywhere. In fact he doesn't ask for much Lebanese food and probably eats more Pakistani because he likes spices (Lebanese food has a few spices but very different to Pakistani/Indian). But in general we're pretty similar in enjoying eating from a variety of cultures so I don't have to worry too much as long as it tastes good. My kids have been exposed to it all from young as well so luckily they aren't too fussy either which makes life a lot easier.
I am in the process of converting recipes so will post once I am sure of them
Thankyou for the well wishes!
Am looking forward to it.

Welcome Fatima, you are lucky to have Anita as your group leaded as she is most supportive and really knows this machine. I also live in Cherokee, down the road a bit from Anita. I hope you can convert some recipes and will look forward to them. Good luck with you first demo.
