New member from Bondi
« on: February 10, 2013, 07:14:47 pm »
Hi everyone
Originally from Edinburgh, now an Australian citizen and living in Beautiful Bondi!
My wife doesn't like to cook, so it's down to me to provide the chef duties.
We've had our Thermomix for 2 years now and I have become evangelistic about how amazing it is!
Not been using it as much as I should but this is about to change...
Because I run my own business, I don't have much time to cook but armed with our TM and my newly purchased Fagor pressure cooker, it should make things easier.
Joined the forum to get new recipes because I'm trying to remove sugar from my diet due to health reasons and I need some inspiration!
Love TM based websites like Tenina's but they tend to be dessert focused which is obviously not what I want to be doing.
Looking for healthy, tasty, low GI recipes I can build on.
I'll even be sharing some myself as I go!
Thanks!
Jack

Hi Jack and welcome to the forum.  Its nice to have another male on board.  Good luck with finding and converting recipes for the Thermomix which are low GI - with 2 years experience under your belt, it should be an easy task once you find the recipes.  Definitely stay away from the dessert and cake section.

Welcome to the forum Jack. I am sure you'll find lots of recipes on here that fit your requirements. Have you checked Tenina's blog for food other than sweet, yummy desserts? I guess you have. www.tenina.com

I'd love for you to share some of your recipes with us.
