Just a really easy, tasty mac n cheese.

Ingredients

250g macaroni elbows

Edc bechamel sauce 500 ml version

100g cheese, blitz in TM befre starting & set aside.

Blitz jatz crackers or breadcrumbs in TM before starting & set aside

Method
Put macaroni elbws in TM server.
pour boiling water over until well covered
Put lid on.
Make  bechamel sauce as per EDC
Preghet oven 160
When cooked add 100g of grated cheese, I used 80g cheddar & 20g parmesan.
Drain pasta, should be perfect now
Mix the sauce through the pasta.
Put in ovn dish.
Sprinkle crackers or breadcrumbs on top.
Bake until golden brown.

The kids love this.

BecciM - Fantastic thank you! My favourite bit is the pasta cooking in the thermoserver, brilliant!

Kimmyh - Lovely thanks Hally. It was half a hit in our house. DS5 and I loved it. DS4 (who has a slight  blue packet mac & cheese addiction) and not willing to try new things atm DH, didn't. Neve rmind, more for me. I too love the idea of cooking the pasta in the thermoserver. Thanks for sharing.

Bootobethin - It is a simple and tasty recipe. Very easy to make. I added grainy mustard and broccoli pieces. Mmmm! I will cook the butter and flour first before adding other ingredients as it had a slight under cooked flour taste. Thanks for a great recipe with lots of alternatives.

Kimby83 - So simple and tasty!! Thanks, it's a hit in our house. We added cabanossi & cayenne pepper - yum.

A quick and easy meal Hally, perfect for when the visitors leave late in the day.
